Does anyone else feel a fervent desire to run out and buy 95 bags of rice even though they only go through a box every 2 weeks? Me too. Meet you at Costco.
Totally! And flour and sugar and everything else. Except I'd have to talk my mom into letting me store it at her house because I have no room to buy anything larger than a 10 lb bag of each (and even that is pushing it!)
We eat rice maybe once every month or so. I came home today to find a huge new box of minute rice from Costco -- JB said, "It was the last one, I had to buy it!"
Hurry and go get it! My sis in law just told me that they are starting to ration it now....AND, that she talked to a supplyer who said that after this next shipment, rice will be tripling in price!

Yeah, especially with the rice shortage! I cannot purchase white short-grain rice because I will eat it non-stop.

ReplyDeleteI totally feel that way too, and it stinks because they are putting a limit on them now!!
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who calls Costco the $100 club - cause you can't walk out without spending at least that much!
ReplyDeleteBut I still love going there. Of course, their Berry Sundaes and Churros help make shopping there more appealing. :)
